A Bequest is a gift for the Future

The benefits of a Shelford education have been enjoyed by generations of Shelford students, due to the support of previous and current members of the School community.

From time to time Shelford is informed that it had been left a generous bequest by a Shelfordian who has wished to demonstrate her allegiance and gratitude to the School for its impact on her life.

The School was delighted to be notified recently that it was the recipient of a generous bequest from the estate of Katherine Ainsley. This $10,000 donation has enabled the Library to purchase a new Library System.

We ask you to consider including Shelford in your Will. Shelford is not a wealthy school. The majority of its income is spent on recurrent costs such as salaries and daily running expenses. Bequests of all sizes are vital for Shelford's ongoing financial security so that it can continue to fulfil its vision for the education of girls.
